Meyer (4-5) allowed unstoppable, gave a base and retired seven hitters via the punch on the way to victory.
First base C.J. Cron (4) and goalkeeper Mike Trout (18) connected home runs for the Angels.
The defeat was led by starter Gio Gonzalez (8-5) in five 2/3 innings, with a five-hit homer, home run and four runs.
