Osceola County Association of REALTORS® provides 150 meals to local senior citizens for Father’s Day

KISSIMMEE, FL – The Osceola County Association of REALTORS® is once again proud to support the Osceola Council on Aging’s “Dinners for Dads” initiative. This initiative, sponsored by the Association’s REALTORS® Care Committee, ensures senior citizens will have a hot and nutritious meal on Father’s Day – which can be a hard day for many seniors.

“We would like to thank the Osceola County Association of REALTORS® for sponsoring $1,000 toward our Father’s Day meal delivery. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful group like the REALTORS® Care Committee continuing to care about the seniors in our community. This generous donation will enable us to deliver about 150 Father’s Day meals to Osceola County’s most frail seniors on their special day,” stated Wendy Ford, President/CEO of Osceola Council on Aging.

The purpose of the REALTORS® Care Committee is to seek, develop and promote opportunities for the Osceola County Association of REALTORS® and its’ members to be engaged in the community. The committee identifies opportunities and encourages involvement from REALTORS® in order to make a strong, positive impact in the community.

“REALTORS® believe in being good neighbors and giving back to our community. We are fortunate to have such a vital organization like the Council on Aging in Osceola County and are proud to partner in their efforts to support seniors,” said Justin Shrouder, REALTORS® Care Committee Chair.

The Osceola County Association of REALTORS® is the largest professional trade association in Osceola County providing programs, services, continuing education, and advocacy for nearly 5,000 REALTORS® in Central Florida.
