Just a few days after the premiere of Bad Boys for Life, the third film in the legendary 90’s action saga, it has already been confirmed that there will be a fourth installment of the franchise.
Chris Bremner, screenwriter of the last film in the series will return to write a new adventure of the peculiar agents of the law played by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, as announced by Deadline.
After the 17-year hiatus that separates the second and third installments, the next film is expected to arrive with very little difference from Bad Boys for Life.
The truth is that this early decision to continue the franchise is not strange, since the film has made almost 24 million dollars before finishing its first weekend on the billboard.
However, everything indicates that the success of the film had already been foreseen by its producer, since one of the post-credits scenes of the film left an open door for the adventures of Lowrey and Burnett to continue.
