Facebook tries to hide the ‘Like’ number of its main application

Facebook has hidden the ‘Like’ number of users in its main social network in an internal test that follows the one it is already developing on its photography platform, Instagram.

The company has started internal tests to hide the Like counter and other Reactions on the social network, as reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong has discovered. You have identified it in the Android application code.

In the capture that Wong has shared in his blog, it can be seen that the Reactions icons and the list of people who have marked one appear at the bottom of the publication. But you don’t see the number.

At the moment, it seems that this feature is being tested in the publications, and the number of Feedback to comments remains available.
