     San Francisco, .- The multinational Netflix announced today that so far this year 2019 obtained a profit of 344 million dollars, 18% more than the 290 million won during the first three months of 2018, and added 9.6 million of new users worldwide.

    The shareholders of the company based in Los Gatos (California) obtained between last January and March 0.76 dollars per title, compared to 0.64 earned in the same period of the previous year.
    In terms of revenue, Netflix invoiced in the first quarter of this year 4.52 billion dollars, substantially above the 3,700 entered between January and March 2018.

    The gross operating result of the digital content platform during the past three months was 459 million, while the company slightly reduced its long-term debt of 10,360 million with which it closed its fiscal year 2018 to 10,305 today. .

    Regarding the number of subscribers, Netflix added 9.6 million new users worldwide, of which 1.74 million in the US, which puts it in a total number of subscribers of payment of 148,863 million throughout the planet (60.229 million of them in the country).

    This was the first time that the US company presented its accounts since the celebration of the Oscar gala last February, in which the film “Roma” by the Mexican Alfonso Cuarón, distributed through its platform, was won by three statuettes, including best director and best non-English speaking film.
