There’s no reason for me to go with my head down, says LeBron James

LeBron James, the star of the Cleveland Cavaliers, was saddened by his team’s defeat and elimination in the NBA Finals when they lost Game Five (129-120) to the Golden State Warriors, but said There was no reason to go with his head down.

“It’s not nice to lose the Finals in five games, but I gave it all to each of them and therefore I have no reason to go with my head down,” said James who doubled 41 points, 13 rebounds, 8 Assists, recovered two balls and lost three. “We have eliminated the best team that has been the last three seasons in the NBA.”

James recognized that his team was cut short in overcoming a rival that was reinforced with a great player like Kevin Durant, who in the end would make the difference.

“It’s normal for us to be a bit frustrated now, but of course we’ll reflect on what happened and I’m convinced we’ll find a way to be a better team next season,” said James. “Now we have to let the emotions settle down and everything will be different.”

James admitted that he felt bad for his teammates by not being able to help him get another league title, but it would help them with the experience.

“We have to recognize that the Warriors have played great basketball all season and also in the Finals, without giving us a chance to get back into the competition after we lost the third game that was the decisive,” admitted James.

No team in NBA history was able to overcome a 0-3 draw in the Finals Series, although the Cavaliers last year if they could do it with 1-3 against them and get the first title for the franchise, Which is James’ second round with the Cleveland team.

James said he had to congratulate the Warriors because they proved that they were the best team in the field deserved the title more than anyone else.

“They have made a great season, the arrival of Durant made them a team with few weaknesses in their game and that was demonstrated in the duel that we have maintained.”

The Cavaliers star reiterated that on a personal level he was satisfied because he gave everything in the field and when you do that is the greatest satisfaction you should have as a professional.
