New York, .- Nineteen people have been injured, two of them women in critical condition, in a fire in an apartment building in the district of The Bronx.
The fire started shortly after six o’clock in the morning on a second floor and apparently some people have jumped out of the windows to escape the intense flames, which spread quickly to other buildings, ABC said.
It also indicates that firefighters have indicated that one of the women in critical condition was found on the sidewalk with burns.
Some wounded were taken to several hospitals in the Bronx.
The causes of fire are under investigation. (EFEUSA)
