Democrats Release Trump’s Birthday Card to Epstein, Which the President Denied Existed

House Oversight Committee Democrats on Monday released the birthday card sent by President Donald Trump to the late billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, accused of pedophilia and child trafficking, a document Trump had previously denied existed.

“Here it is. We have obtained the birthday card from Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, which the president said didn’t exist. Trump speaks of a ‘wonderful secret’ the two shared. What are they hiding? Release the files!” the Committee Democrats demanded on their X account.

The document, which is signed by Trump himself and includes a female profile, was submitted along with other documentation to the House Oversight Committee and immediately posted on social media by the Democratic members of Congress.

This release is the result of a request from the Commission, chaired by Republican James Comer, and does not include the alleged “client list” that is speculated to also include Trump.

Epstein’s representatives have responded that they have “no record of the existence of a list of clients involved in sex, sexual acts, or sex trafficking provided by Mr. Jeffrey Epstein,” according to the lawyers’ response sent to the Commission and obtained by The Hill. They do acknowledge the existence of an “address and contact book.”

Trump has repeatedly denied having written this letter congratulating Epstein on his 50th birthday and has even sued The Wall Street Journal, the first media outlet to report its existence, for defamation.

The president has called for the closure of this investigation, which he has repeatedly described as an attempt to destabilize the government. However, he has faced pressure within his own ranks to publish all information related to the case.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of sexually abusing and trafficking dozens of girls in the early 2000s. The millionaire, who even rubbed shoulders with figures such as Prince Andrew of England—the son of Elizabeth II—, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump himself, was discovered hanged in his cell.
