Biden calls for ‘making history’ in final plea for Kamala Harris

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, has called on the population to “make history” and elect the current ‘number two’ of the Administration, Kamala Harris, as the future tenant of the White House, in a final call that comes in the middle of election day.

“Go vote,” Biden has demanded on his social networks, where he has also shared a web page with information on the voting centers enabled based on the place of residence.

Biden, 81 years old, began this campaign as a candidate for re-election by the Democratic Party, but a succession of errors revived the debate about his advanced age and ended up forcing him to resign. Harris then took the reins of the candidacy without primaries in between.

The current president, 81 years old, will therefore leave office on January 20 after a single term. He has opted to keep a low profile over the past few days, not appearing at major events, and will be following election night from the White House, according to CNN.
