Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon begin season 2 of the Morning Show, which is already dated

The second season of ‘The Morning Show’, one of the most acclaimed and successful series on AppleTV +, already has a release date. The new episodes of the journalistic drama led by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will arrive on the platform on September 17 and nothing better as an aperitif than the first trailer of the second batch, in which it will be seen how the ideal female news tandem is separated.

The trailer shows the departure of Alex (Aniston) from the UBA morning show after the terrible revelations at the end of the first season. Despite Bradley (Witherspoon) facing this new phase alone as best he can, the audience is not responding well, prompting the entire team to do everything possible to bring Alex back, including the irascible Cory (Billy Crudup).

It seems that her return will not be easy, as the advance shows that Alex seems to have turned the page, on a professional level. On the other hand, the trailer shows her replacement, played by Hasan Minhaj. In addition, it seems that the moment will come when Alex will decide, in an interview, to tell the whole truth.

“There is a price to pay for success and fame,” the trailer narrates. A season that, due to production problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, will arrive later than expected. On September 17, New York’s most-watched morning show re-airs.
