Roundtable will be held at cruise terminal
PORT CANAVERAL, Fla.– Gov. Ron DeSantis will hold a roundtable discussion Friday morning at Port Canaveral.
The session, which is not open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will be livestreamed on ClickOrlando.com in the video player above.
DeSantis will be joined by Attorney General Ashley Moody and Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Kevin J. Thibault P.E., but no other details about the roundtable have been released.
DeSantis announced Thursday that any resident 18 or older will be eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine in Florida starting April 5. Those 40-plus can get the vaccine starting this Monday.
More than 5.3 million people in Florida have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The latest daily report from the department of health shows there have been 2,027,429 cases of COVID-19 in the state.
