Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Chromebook 2, a ‘two-in-one’ convertible with a QLED screen, ChromOS operating system, and various RM memory and internal storage configuration options.
The 13.3-inch Galaxy Chromebook 2 employs a QLED touchscreen with FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution, which “can produce more than a billion different colors,” according to the technology company. Works with 10th Gen Intel Core i3-10110U or Intel Celeron 5205U processors depending on the market.
This machine runs on ChromeOS and comes in a ‘2-in-1’ format, so it can be used as a laptop or tablet, and placed in the middle ‘tent’ position. Its keyboard has been redesigned, to introduce wider keys and backlighting. It is compatible with a USI standard stylus – sold separately.
The new Galaxy Chromebook 2 integrates a long-lasting 45.5Wh battery and comes with a configuration of 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and internal storage of 64GB or 128GB. It also has stereo speakers with Smart AMP sound and WiFi 6 (Gig +) capabilities.
Galaxy Chromebook 2 is just 13.9mm thick and has two finishes: Fiesta Red and Mercury Gray.
