The Spanish tennis player Rafa Nadal has congratulated his followers on the Christmas holidays from a Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar that is turning four years old, and he does so wishing a 2021 better than 2020 “to forget” due to the pandemic.
“I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2021, from the Academy. This year that we said goodbye has been a year to forget, the most complicated I have ever experienced,” said the Spaniard.
Nadal wanted to send “a lot of encouragement” for 2021 and also condolences to people who have lost a loved one. “A lot of encouragement and we trust that things, little by little, will get better,” he predicted.
“This 2020 my foundation turns ten years old, many projects that we had in hand have been postponed but we trust that in 2021 things will improve, that the vaccine can reach the majority of homes and that we can recover the life we knew,” he added.
To finish, he once again wished “the best” and asked, yes, “responsibility” this Christmas. “That we have responsibility because it is a delicate moment, without a doubt, and it depends on us that things do not get worse, which is enough as they are,” he said.
