Former Argentine soccer player Diego Armando Maradona, considered one of the best players in history, has died at the age of 60 after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest at his home in the town of Tigre, according to the Argentine newspaper ‘ClarÃn’.
Maradona, winner of the 1986 World Cup with the Argentine national team, was admitted urgently three weeks ago to a clinic in the city of La Plata, due to a problem related to the gastric bypass that he underwent in 2005, and died this Wednesday.
