Thus, the United States is by far the most affected country of the 187 in which cases of Covid-19 have already been detected, the disease associated with the virus that originated in 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Spain is in second place, with 216,582 infections and 25,100 deaths, ahead of Italy – 209,328 infected and 28,710 dead -, always according to data from the University of Baltimore.
The United Kingdom, which dramatically increased its death toll this week after including those who lost their lives outside of hospitals, has so far recorded 28,131 deaths, while the number of positives is 183,500.

Peru and the Netherlands have more than 40,000 infections – 42,534 and 1,200 deaths and 40,434 cases and 5,003 deaths – and only India is in the spectrum of 30,000 cases with 39,980 cases and 1,323 deaths after registering, like Russia, another daily maximum of infections this Saturday.

Switzerland, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Mexico, Sweden and Ireland have exceeded 20,000 infected. For their part, Pakistan, Chile, Singapore, Israel, Belarus, Austria, Qatar, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Indonesia and South Korea have more than 10,000 infected each.
Denmark and Serbia have accounted for more than 9,000 cases, and the Philippines and Bangladesh have more than 8,000.
