After Rambo’s little rosy impressions: Last Blood, including criticism from the character’s own creator, David Morrell, Sylvester Stallone has answered the movie’s haters. And the actor has challenged them to watch the movie, openly asking: “Can’t you go with Rambo?”
In an Instagram post, Stallone shared a video with the blunt response to those who have criticized Last Blood. “Can’t you go with Rambo? Let’s find out,” the publication announces. The question is followed by opinions of some viewers who did not like the movie. “It’s not for everyone,” says the video, which entwines frantic clips from the movie.
Despite the poor reception among critics, getting only 30% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the film has 84% positive opinions among the public after the vote of almost 3,000 people.
Rambo: Last Blood, directed by Adrian Grunberg, tells how John Rambo abandons his retirement to rescue his granddaughter in one last avenue. Starring Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Marco de la O, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Óscar Jaenada, the film arrives in theaters this Friday, September 27.
