Shakira has just released the first preview of the feature film of ‘Shakira in Concert: El Dorado World Tour’, which will be screened on November 13 for a single night in cinemas worldwide, with repeat functions in some countries.
This is the first preview of this film, which transports us to the most successful tour of Shakira’s career. We will see his performances of his new mega-hits as “Blackmail” and “The Bicycle”, as well as the classics of his discography of more than 20 years as “Hips Don’t Lie”, “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) ” and I am here”.
Directed by Shakira and James Merryman, this feature features highlights in concert that were filmed mostly during their triumphant performance in Los Angeles in August 2018. In addition, performances were also recorded in different cities in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
‘Shakira in Concert: El Dorado World Tour’ is narrated through Shakira’s own words, immersively portraying the work that was necessary to carry out this production in 22 countries before almost a million attendees, after having to Postpone the tour due to a vocal cord injury in November 2017.
With its premiere scheduled for November 13, this feature film will be presented in more than 2,000 theaters in more than 60 countries. Cinemas in the United States will screen it on November 13 and 17, with repeat performances in select theaters around the world.
