  New York (USA) .- The opener David Price threw six innings and a third and directed the Boston Red Sox, who won 8-5 to the New York Yankees.

On the way to victory Price (3-2) allowed six hits, home runs and two runs, gave a base and retired six hitters via the punch.

The ranger J.D. Martinez (12) and shortstop Xander Bogaerts (12) each hit home runs for the Red Sox.
The loss halts a three-game winning streak by the Yankees, leaders of the AL East.

For the Yankees the defeated was the starter C.C. Sabathia (3-2) in six episodes. (EFE)
