Washington, .- The Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, announced today that “all” diplomats have already left Venezuela and that the Government will reestablish its diplomatic presence in that country “once the transition to democracy has begun.”
“Today, all the US diplomats who remained in Venezuela have left the country,” Pompeo said in a statement.
The Foreign Minister had already announced that during this week the US diplomats left in Venezuela would leave Caracas, a very small number of personnel due to the fact that Washington ordered the departure of families and non-essential officials in January. (EFEUSA)
