Owner of the Patriots is accused of requiring prostitution in Florida

MIAMI (Reuters) – New England Patriots football team owner Robert Kraft is one of 25 defendants in connection with a dismantled prostitution ring in central Florida, police said on Tuesday.

Kraft, 77, was charged with two counts as the result of a long investigation into an establishment called Orchids of Asia that was advertised as a “spa” in the town of Jupiter, the head of the press said today at a press conference. police of that city, Daniel Karr.

That is one of ten downtown Florida locations closed by police in an investigation into a trafficking network of people for sexual exploitation that could be extended to determine if money laundering was involved, Karr said.
“We are as surprised as everyone else,” police chief Karr told a news conference.

The police said they have evidence that the owner of the Boston football team was on Jupiter’s premises twice and that there are videos that prove the sexual acts that took place in Asian Orchids.

Kraft was taken by a driver to the premises, where customers paid between $ 59 and $ 79 per hour for services, police said.
According to local media, Kraft will receive a communication by mail of the accusations against him if he has a residence in Palm Beach County.

If you live outside, a detention order will be issued. (EFEUSA)
