The “all inclusive” luxury trend is consolidated in the tourism sector

The trend of luxury “all inclusive” is consolidated in the tourist beach holiday sector in a new trend that seeks, above all, family tourism, to which specialized companies have responded with an increase in the quality of the offer.

The recipe to respond to this demand is focused on a varied and quality cuisine, impeccable service 24 hours, scheduled activities and a closed price offered by companies such as Apple Leisure Group (ALG), which is in the process of expansion and growth in this sector.

In an interview with EFE, Javier Coll, ALG’s executive vice president and strategy director, explained that “all-inclusive resorts are the trend of the moment, we move more than 3.4 million travelers a year and we know what they are looking for.”

“What we offer is an all-inclusive quality, something that perhaps years ago was not offered, the quality all-inclusive is what the traveler is looking for, especially the families that it is very convenient for,” he added.

In this line of expansion in the sector, Apple Leisure Group (ALG), leader in the all-inclusive segment, and NH Hotel Group (NH) have signed a strategic alliance to bring to Europe, starting with Spain, its brand AMR Resorts.

“Spain is the gateway to the holiday segment in Mediterranean Europe, and by positioning itself as the second most visited country in the world in 2017, we are at the ideal moment to expand our presence there with a partner such as NH Hotel Group,” he said. Coll.

“NH is supporting us to enter the most popular and competitive destinations in the country, as well as in the rest of the Mediterranean countries, such as Italy, where NH has a strong presence,” he added.

AMResorts, one of the companies of Apple Leisure Group, has also signed a strategic alliance with Krystal Grand, belonging to Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, one of the leading companies in the hotel industry in Mexico, to be implemented from next July 1, a strategic alliance with the new brand Reflect Resorts & Spas in three properties located in Punta Cancun, Los Cabos and Nuevo Vallarta.

Reflect Resorts & Spas is a brand dedicated to the family sector, which will operate under the “Unlimited Luxury” model where everything is included: unlimited access to gourmet restaurants without reservation, unlimited premium drinks, 24-hour room service, activities for The whole family day and night, theme parties, access without bracelets, and tips and taxes included.

In this new model, AMResorts will be responsible for the commercialization, sales and marketing of the three properties, which represent a total of 1,329 rooms, while Krystal Grand will maintain ownership of the hotels and will continue to operate them.

The goal is to generate greater international sales growth for the three hotels, as well as greater customer acquisition thanks to the strength of the distribution channels of ALG, the provider of vacation packages to Mexico and the largest Caribbean in the United States.

ALG is the provider of vacation packages to Mexico and the largest Caribbean in the United States, moving about 3.4 million passengers a year.

The strategic alliances with NH in Europe and with Krystal Grand in Mexico are an example of ALG’s capacity for expansion and its ability to find complementary partners, according to Coll.

“The size of the groups and the track record that Krystal Grand or NH have in their respective hospitality segments in Mexico or Europe make them the ideal partners of ALG, on the other hand, the signing of these agreements by Krystal Grand and NH with ALG, provides more direct, diversified and profitable distribution channels, “he added.
