Escobar connects home run and defines the triumph of the Royals

The shortstop Venezuelan Alcides Escobar hit the entire return in the fourteenth and defined the victory of the Kansas City Royals 2-1 on the Minnesota Twins.

In the bottom of the fourteenth inning, Escobar (2) sealed the victory by breaking a tie on the board with a four-cornered hit on the throws of closer Taylor Rogers, solo, when there were two outs in the inning.

On the mound the beneficiary was the closer Scott Barlow (1-0) in four innings, gave a passport and struck out five enemies to prove the triumph.

The Twins lost to Rogers (1-2) in a third of an episode, with home run and home run penalty.
