Hurricane Irma climbed to Category 4 and continues its fluctuations of intensity as it continues its shift over the Atlantic to the Caribbean, the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported today.
Hurricane Irma, the fourth hurricane season in the Atlantic, has sustained sustained winds that increased to 130 mph (215 km / h) and stronger bursts are expected in the next 48 hours, the NHC said in its bulletin. 5.00 pm ET.
