The Jets fire Harris and warn Decker

Linebacker David Harris is no longer a member of the New York Jets, who are still conducting a general review of the team.

The Jets indicated that their receiver Eric Decker would be released in the next few days should they not find the possibility of an exchange with another team.

With the dismissal of Harris and Decker, the Jets will save 13.7 million in payroll in cash and maximum limit space.

Decker, 30, underwent hip and shoulder surgery during the fall, but is now recovering and keeps training.

On Tuesday the two players participated in the practices of the team, before they were informed of the decision of the team.

According to the Jets, the movements continued inside the organization, which has already freed several veteran players, including Darrelle Revis, Nick Mangold, Brandon Marshall and Calvin Pryor.
