Dominican starter Ervin Santana worked the full course allowing two hits and was credited with winning the Minnesota Twins, who beat the Baltimore Orioles 2-0.

Santana (7-2) worked the nine innings, accepted two hits, gave two passports and retired six enemies via the punch.

The Dominican faced 31 batters, four more than the mandatory minimum, and controlled them with 105 shipments, 69 went to the strike zone, and left at 1.80 his average of effectiveness.

In the second baseman Brian Dozier (6) sent the ball to the street in the seventh episode, with no runners on the trails, when there were two outs in the inn.

For the Orioles, the starter was Dylan Bundy (5-3) in seven innings, allowing six hits, a home run and two runs.
