The deputy from abroad for constituency no. 1, Servia Iris Familia, thanked President Luis Abinader and the executive director of the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa), Dr. Santiago Hazim, for installing the first three offices of this entity on North American soil for the benefit of Dominicans residing there.
The perremeista legislator assured that this conquest of the Dominican diaspora in New York and other states was an old desire of which she took the lead and was part of her legislative proposals, for which she feels the satisfaction of the duty fulfilled with her constituents, to gradually achieve its promises, thanks to the decision made by President Luis Abinader, who has always recognized the incalculable value of the contributions of Dominicans abroad.
He said that together with his legislative proposal, the actions carried out by the Dominican consul in New York, engineer Eligio Jaquez, who together with his management team managed to materialize the arrival of SeNaSa, allowing the use of the premises of his consular delegation should be highlighted. so that it will operate, among other vital actions for the same purposes.
Servia Iris Familia understands that with actions such as the installation of these Senasa offices, it is one more example that change is a reality and that Dominicans, wherever they are, should feel proud of President Abinader’s management of the government.
The political and community leader, representative in the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominicans abroad of constituency No. 1, took the opportunity to make a call to all the Dominicans residing in the favored demarcations to approach the SeNaSa offices so that they enjoy of the benefits granted by an inclusive government that thinks about improving the quality of life for everyone regardless of their place of residence.
The National Health Insurance (SENASA) opened its first service office in the Dominican consulate in New York City. It has been created for Dominicans residing abroad who wish to opt for the SENASA Larimar plan, so that they can have access to the services it offers, when they are in Dominican territory.
In this first phase, offices will be opened simultaneously in the New York consulate, under the direction of Modesto Liranzo and a whole team of men and women of proven ability, as well as in the representations of the New York consulate in New Jersey and Philadelphia, cities where the largest number of Dominican citizens is concentrated. In a second phase, offices will be installed in Boston and Miami.
