Minneapolis (USA), .- Stephen Curry contributed 36 points as leader of the attack of the Golden Sate Warriors, who beat home 107-117 Minnesota Timberwolves, who added four consecutive losses.
The Warriors (48-22), with five wins in the last 10 games, regained first place in the Western Conference, taking a half-game advantage over the Denver Nuggets, who have a rest day.
The Golden State team, previously qualified for the final stage, started the day tied for the lead in the West with the Nuggets, but with their 12th victory outside their field (24-12) they remain solo leaders. The Nuggets have a rest day.
Klay Thompson had 28 points and Kevin Durant contributed 17 points and nine assists for the Warriors.
The Timberwolves (32-39) reached four straight losses and are tenth in the Western Conference, nine games of the Los Angeles Clippers, eighth, last place that receives a ticket to the finals.
The Dominican Karl Anthony Towns had a double-double of 26 points and 21 rebounds for the Minnesota team.
Towns played 35 minutes, scored 10 of 16 field goals, including 2 of 3 triples, 4 of 6 from the personnel line and delivered four assists.
Andrew Wiggins scored 20 points and Josh Okogie scored 19 for the Timberwolves, who played again without their injured Jeff Teague, Derrick Rose, Robert Covington and Luol Deng. (EFE)
