“Captain Marvel” continues at the top and “No Manches Frida 2” triumphs

Los Angeles, .- “Captain Marvel” remained at the top of the national box office for the second consecutive weekend with 69.3 million dollars, while the Mexican film “No Manches Frida 2” debuted improving the brand of its predecessor, informed the specialized website Box Office Mojo.

“Captain Marvel” now exceeds 760 million dollars worldwide.

The film focuses on the figure of the Air Force pilot Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), a woman who obtains a series of powers that make her one of the most powerful characters -perhaps, the most- of the Marvel Universe and that he must discover his true identity in full battle between two alien races.
The second place was for the animated film for the whole family “Wonder Park”, with 16 million dollars.

The David Feiss film, with the voices of Sofia Mali, Jennifer Garner, Ken Hudson Campbell and Kenan Thompson in its original version, takes place in an amusement park where the imagination of an extremely creative girl comes to life.

The third place was obtained by “Five Feet Apart”, with 13.1 million dollars.

In the fourth place appears “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” with 9.3 million dollars.

Outside the “top 5”, in the sixth place, but getting the second best average per copy just behind “Captain Marvel”, appears “No Manches Frida 2”, with 3.89 million dollars after its premiere in 472 theaters .

That mark is superior to the 3.6 million dollars that amassed the first part in its premiere in 2016.
