The author of the successful novel “50 shades of Gray”, EL James, announced on Thursday the release of a new erotic novel, “The Mister” (Ed Cornerstone), which this time away from the characters of the romantic best seller eight years ago, he elevated it to success.
In his new novel, which will be published in the United States on April 16, James tells the story of a handsome and wealthy Briton named Maxim Trevelyan and an enigmatic woman he falls in love with, Alessia Demachi.
Almost eight years have passed since the author launched the romance and erotic novel that catapulted her career, with 100 million copies sold worldwide, and that included a franchise of five books and three films valued at 1,000 million dollars.
On this occasion, the writer of “50 shades of Gray” took a break from the characters Christian Gray and Anastasia Steele in favor of a new story, but with another couple at the center of everything.
“It’s a Cinderella story of the 21st century,” James told the “Today” television show describing the woman as the protagonist of an “exciting and sensual” story.
The editorial review describes the book as “a roller coaster of danger and desire that leaves the reader breathless until the last page”.
The fans of James will have to wait for its release on April 16, although some fragments of the book have already been leaked in the US press, in what is shaping up as another saga of sex and wealth.
In the review, the editorial explains about the protagonists of this new story that “life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan, because with his good looks, aristocratic connections and money, he never had to work and rarely slept alone”.
“But all that changes,” he adds, “when a tragedy occurs and Maxim inherits the noble title, wealth and property of his family, and all the responsibility that comes with it, a role for which he is not prepared.”
The editorial review continues: “But her biggest challenge is to fight against the desire for an unexpected and enigmatic young woman who has just arrived in England, which has a dangerous and problematic past.” Reticent, beautiful and musically endowed, she is a fascinating mystery and the Maxim’s longing for her deepens into a passion that he has never experienced and does not dare to name. “
From the heart of London, through the wild and rural Cornwall, to the bleak beauty of the Balkans, “The Mister” is “a rollercoaster of danger and desire that leaves the reader breathless to the last page”, according to the editorial . (EFEUSA) .-
