The United States Football Federation today announced that Orlando will host the penultimate game that the national team will play on Oct. 6 against Panama in the hexagonal final of CONCACAF to the 2018 World Cup.
The match will be played at the Orlando City Stadium, owned by the local team that has the same name and that plays in the Professional League of Soccer of the United States (MLS).
The United States will play their first official game in Orlando and the second of the World Cup qualifier in the state of Florida since 1980.
The last time he played in Orlando was in 1998 when he beat Sweden 1-0.
Currently, the Stars and Strip team is in fourth place with four points, and the match against Panama will be the ninth date of the hexagonal.
For the Concacaf, three teams will advance directly to the World Cup and finish in fourth place will play a playoff against an Asian team.
The last game of the United States in the hexagonal one will be of visitor before Trinidad and Tobago the 10 of October.
