Netflix earned 26% more in 2025, reaching $9.439 billion, with over 325 million subscribers.

The American streaming platform Netflix recorded a net profit of $10.981 billion (€9.439 billion) at the end of 2025, representing a 26% increase compared to the previous year. It ended the year with more than 325 million paying subscribers, compared to 300 million at the end of 2024.

Netflix’s revenue for the full year totaled $45.183 billion (€38.837 billion), a 15.9% increase compared to 2024.

In the fourth quarter alone, the Los Gatos-based company posted a net profit of $2.419 billion (€2.079 billion), a 29.4% increase year-on-year, while revenue grew by 17.6% to $12.051 billion (€10.359 billion), exceeding the company’s forecasts in both cases. Looking ahead to 2026, Netflix anticipates revenue of between $50.7 billion and $51.7 billion (€43.58 billion and €44.439 billion), which would represent an annual increase of 12% to 14%, driven by growth in subscribers and pricing, as well as a projected doubling of advertising revenue in 2026 compared to 2025.

The platform also expects to achieve an operating margin of 31.5% in 2026, up from 29.5% in 2025. This includes approximately $275 million (€236 million) in acquisition-related expenses, along with an increase in content amortization of approximately 10% in 2026, with stronger growth in the first half of the year than in the second, due to the release schedule of new titles. As a result, Netflix anticipates stronger operating income growth in the second half of 2026 than in the first.

“We still see significant room to expand our margins, and our intention is to increase our operating margin each year, although the magnitude of the margin expansion will vary from year to year as we balance reinvestment in our business with improving profitability,” the company stated.
