US Democrats Release Epstein Emails Claiming Trump “Spended Hours” with Victim

The White House Says Emails Were “Selectively Leaked” to Create a “False Narrative” to Defame the President

A US House committee released a series of emails Wednesday from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, involved in a case of alleged sex trafficking of minors, in which he claims that the current White House occupant, Donald Trump, “spent hours” with one of the victims.

Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released three correspondence messages between Epstein and his former partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, sentenced to 20 years in prison for facilitating the trafficking of teenage girls who would later be sexually abused, and columnist and writer Michael Wolff.

In these private exchanges, Epstein said in 2011 that Trump “spent hours” at his home with a sex trafficking victim. In a 2019 email, Epstein explicitly stated that Trump “knew about the girls.”

“I want you to realize that the dog that hasn’t barked is Trump. (The victim) spent hours at my house with him, hasn’t mentioned it once (…),” reads the April 2011 email. Maxwell responded, “I’ve been thinking about that…”

In another message, this time from December 2015, Wolff informed her that he understood CNN was “going to ask Trump tonight about their relationship.” “If we could write a response for him, what do you think it should be?” Epstein replied. The journalist then said that “I should just drop him.”

“If he says he wasn’t on the plane or at the house, that will give you a valuable public relations and political advantage. You can damage him in a way that potentially benefits you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him by creating a debt. Of course, it’s possible that when questioned, he’ll say Jeffrey is a good guy, that he’s been treated unfairly, and that he’s a victim of political correctness, which will be illegal under a Trump regime,” he added.

Years later, in January 2019, in another email to Wolff, Epstein said: “Trump said he asked me to resign, never again a member. Of course, he knew about the girls because he asked Ghislaine to stop.”

“DEFAMING THE PRESIDENT”

Following the release of these documents, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that “Democrats have selectively leaked the emails to liberal media outlets to create a false narrative to defame the president,” adding that “these stories are nothing more than bad-faith attempts to deflect attention from the president’s accomplishments.”

“The ‘anonymous victim’ being referred to is the late Virginia Giuffre, who repeatedly stated that Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing and that he ‘couldn’t have been nicer’ to her in their few interactions. The fact is, Trump expelled Jeffrey Epstein from his club decades ago for harassing his employees, including Giuffre,” he declared.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of sexually abusing and trafficking dozens of girls in the early 2000s. This millionaire, who at one point even rubbed shoulders with figures such as Prince Andrew of England—brother of Charles III—Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, was found hanged in his cell.
