Google has added a new supervised experience on YouTube that will allow parents to monitor the activity of their teens’ channels as content creators by linking their accounts.
YouTube has enabled a new family center so that parents can link their accounts on this platform with those of their teens, which will give them access to a record of the activity on their teens’ channel, with notifications about key events such as the publication of videos or the start of a live broadcast.
In this way, parents will be able to monitor the activity of teens not as consumers but as content creators, and guide them in this process to ensure that they publish videos responsibly, as YouTube has explained on its official blog.
This new experience has been built on the supervised experience aimed at pre-teens, and is available globally.
