The Ministry of Labor, in its role as intermediary for companies that need to fill their available vacancies, invites interested persons to participate in the employment day in Samaná that will be held on November 3 and 4 of this year.
It will take place from 9:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon, at the Samaná City Hall, located on Theodore Chasereaux Street, in front of the Municipal Park.
This service company has 400 vacancies available, which are: Room service, restaurant and minibar waiters; bar assistant and bartender, applicants must have an approved bachelor’s degree, waiter technical course, master the Intermediate English language, knowledge of liquor, food and beverage handling.
Also requested: Hostess who are university students or technical career, with intermediate command of English and management of office package; bar captain who is a hotel and tourism student with advanced English, knowledge in liquor, food and beverage handling.
Likewise, they are needed: Security agents, and CCTV, applicants for these vacancies must be high school graduates, master basic English and have immediate availability.
Likewise, the following are requested: Steward with knowledge of cleaning industrial kitchens, cook with technical cooking course, kitchen assistant with knowledge of food handling.
Head of Party with knowledge of hot and cold foods and basic English language skills, housekeeper and room attendant with maintenance experience, all applicants must be high school graduates.
Also needed: Hotel and tourism graduate receptionist with advanced English and experience in the area; electricians with eighth grade approved, oriented to plastics; set designer with experience in setting up events, intermediate English and a vocation for service.
Also wanted: Kids Club Monitor, who should be an energetic person and entertainment supervisor with intermediate-high English, experience supervising staff and working with children.
The Ministry of Labor clarifies that the recruitment process depends on each company, some of them take a little longer, due to the nature of their vacancies.
The use of masks is recommended for attendees as a preventive measure.
