What to expect from CES 2022, the world’s largest consumer electronics fair

The beginning of a new year gives way to the celebration of the first outstanding fair of the technology sector, the consumer electronics show CES in Las Vegas (United States), which this year will open its doors from January 5 to 8, face-to-face and digital.

CES 2022 will have the participation of companies such as Samsung, TCL, Amazon, Sony, LG, HP or HyperX, which will take advantage of the framework offered by this fair to publicize the news that will expand their respective catalogs throughout the year that begins.

The celebration will be face-to-face and digital, in a context that is still variable due to the coronavirus pandemic. The last variant, Ómicron, has motivated some of the brands to decide to decline the in-person invitation, maintaining their participation ‘online’. This is the case of Amazon, Twitter, Meta (parent company of Facebook and WhatsApp), OnePlus and Lenovo.

However, in the days prior to the official opening of the fair, announcements and presentations to the press are concentrated, although some have already advanced some of their novelties. LG, for example, will bring its new professional monitors, its first UltraGear gaming laptop, a solution for purifying the air and another for indoor gardening.

The South Korean company will share its news on Monday, January 3, although it will be on Tuesday, January 4, when a greater number of presentations are expected, from the hand of companies such as TCL, Panasonic, Intel, HyperX, Sony or HP.

On Wednesday, January 5, it will be the turn of Acer, which will reveal news in ‘gaming’, but also Amazon, Asus and Samsung. The latter has already advanced that at CES 2022 it will defend that “technology must exist for humanity and the Earth” together with the presentation of the novelties with which it seeks to help consumers to have a healthier lifestyle.
