The coronavirus pandemic already leaves about 103 million cases worldwide, with more than 380,000 during the last day, in addition to more than 2.2 million deaths, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University.
The center has highlighted that during the last 24 hours, 380,610 cases and 7,920 deaths from coronavirus have been detected, which places the totals at 102,993,505 and 2,228,716, respectively, with 57,088,842 people recovered from COVID-19.
The United States is the most affected country in total figures, with 26,186,815 cases and 441,324 deaths, followed by India, with 10,757,610 and 154,392, and Brazil, with 9,204,731 and 224,504, respectively.
In the range between three and four million infections are the United Kingdom (3,828,183), Russia (3,825,739) and France (3,255,920), while between two and three million are Spain (2,743,119 ), Italy (2,553,032), Turkey (2,477,463), Germany (2,225,659) and Colombia (2,094,884).
On the other hand, between one million and two million cases are Argentina, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, Iran, Ukraine, Peru and Indonesia, while between half a million and one million are the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Canada, Romania, Chile, Portugal, Belgium, Israel, Iraq, Sweden, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Switzerland.
For their part, Morocco and Austria have confirmed between 400,000 and 500,000 cases, while Serbia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Jordan, Panama, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Lebanon have detected between 300,000 and 400,000 infections since the start of the pandemic .
Between the 200,000 and 300,000 cases are Nepal, Georgia, Ecuador, Slovakia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Malaysia, the Dominican Republic and Tunisia.
Likewise, in the group between 100,000 and 200,000 are Denmark, Ireland, Costa Rica, Lithuania, Armenia, Slovenia, Egypt, Kuwait, Moldova, Guatemala, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Greece, Qatar, Honduras, Burma, Ethiopia, Oman, Paraguay, Nigeria, Venezuela, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Libya, Algeria, Bahrain, Kenya and China.
China, the country where the pandemic originated, has 100,063 infected and 4,817 fatalities, concludes the balance of the university.
