YouTube Music introduces ‘Quick Picks’ to start a radio playlist from a song

YouTube Music has introduced a section on its platform that allows you to start playing a radio list from a song suggested by the algorithm, which allows you to discover new content.

The new feature, called ‘Quick Picks’, appears as a new section on the YouTube Music home page. In it, the user sees a carousel with five pages and four songs suggested by the algorithm in each of them.

By clicking on one of the songs, a radio list starts playing, with songs similar to the one selected. The songs it shows as suggestions have been heard before, although there are some new ones on the list, but without much variety.

The new section appears on the home screen, both in the ‘app’ and in the desktop version, under other sections, such as ‘Recommended music videos’ and ‘Mixes for you’.
