Dominican Republic launches a virtual platform to answer questions from visitors

The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (MITUR) has announced the launch of the Traveler Information Center, the virtual platform designed for travelers who plan to visit the country shortly, which clarifies any questions related to the new dynamics and measures implemented as a result of the COVID-19.

This tool has an interactive mechanism that answers the most frequently asked questions by future travelers, a selection of updated news with relevant information on tourism, and a chat with live assistance that answers questions in real time.

The Dominican Republic reactivated its tourist activity on July 1 under rigorous protocols and preventive measures to protect the health of both tourists and locals. These measures can be consulted at the Traveler Information Center.

Through the virtual platform, users can contact an expert in real time from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Dominican time. In case they connect after hours, visitors also have the option to send their questions through the contact form, obtaining an answer by email.

The Traveler Information Center can be visited through the MITUR page www.godominicanrepublic.com/es, or directly at the following link: https://www.drtravelcenter.com/es.
