Star Wars: Rosario Dawson to play Ahsoka Tano in Season 2 of The Mandalorian

Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s popular Padawan in ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’, will jump to the real picture. Actress Rosario Dawson will portray the Jedi Knight’s pupil in the second season of ‘The Mandalorian’ on Disney +. It will be the first appearance of the character in a live-action production of the saga.

According to Slashfilm, the new episodes of the popular series starring Pedro Pascal will feature the Jedi warrior, one of the most popular and beloved characters in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. Dave Filoni, co-creator of the character, is the director, screenwriter and producer of ‘The Mandalorian’, which makes it not strange that he wants to recover the brave Padawan.

Just now Ahsoka Tano is making headlines for the premiere of the seventh and final season of ‘The Clone Wars’, which has been broadcast on Disney + since February in the United States. However, the news must be taken with some caution, since neither Disney nor Lucasfilm have confirmed anything so far.

Since he conquered the hearts of the fans, there have been many followers who have asked to bring Ahsoka Tano to a production in real image. In 2017, precisely, a fan on Twitter launched a request for the ‘Daredevil’ actress to become the young warrior, something that seemed to excite the interpreter, since she responded enthusiastically: “Ummmm * yes, please?”

The first season of ‘The Mandalorian’ and the last season of ‘The Clone Wars’ will be available on Disney + in Spain from March 24. Both fictions will be broadcast weekly, following the platform’s strategy plan not to launch all episodes at once.
