Three positives in the Sixers, new cases of coronavirus in the NBA

The Philadelphia 76ers announced three coronavirus positives on their team Thursday, without revealing the names of the players or part of the coaching staff that add new cases of Covid-19 in the NBA, suspended indefinitely.

“Three people have received positive results for Covid-19. All other results are negative. We have informed health authorities, and those affected are isolated and monitored by professionals,” said the Pennsylvania franchise.

The Sixers issued an official statement on their website, after learning the results of the tests to which they submitted their entire team and coaching staff, as advised by NBA medical experts. “The health of our players, staff, fans and the community is paramount,” he says.

“We extend our thanks and appreciation to medical services and public health for their tireless efforts during these difficult times,” he adds.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver acknowledged this Thursday that they are “not sure how long the break in the US league will last due to the coronavirus, with increasingly forceful measures in the United States to cut the spread, while the basketball league already accumulates a dozen cases.
