The duel between these two players, who have shared many moments in the professional circuit, facing up to 32 times, will serve as a hook to release the second Nadal training project, after it opened its first academy in 2016, the ‘Rafa Nadal Academy ‘located in Manacor, his hometown.

Rafa Nadal and David Ferrer will face each other a year after their last showdown at the Count of Godó in Barcelona, ​​and where weeks later the one from Jávea hung the racket at the Mutua Madrid Open, after a long sports career, accumulating 27 titles .

In the training field, the tennis player has wanted to expand his knowledge in the world of his sport internationally with the creation of the ‘Rafa Nadal Tennis Center’ complexes, in Mexico, and the ‘Sani Resort’, in Greece, and now, with this new protecto in West Asia.

This project, which has been carried out by the group ‘Tandeem’, aims to become a reference tennis center in the Middle East and support the Kuwait Tennis Federation to develop a program that promotes this sport in the country with a training project led by Nuno Márquez and the trainers of the ‘Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar’ displaced to Kuwait.

The facilities of the academy have 8 indoor courts, 8 outdoor courts, an outdoor stadium of 1,500 people and a multi-purpose indoor pavilion that can accommodate 5,000 spectators.
