Inter remains leader after winning the Milan derby

Cristiano Ronaldo marks the victory of Juventus over Hellas Verona.

Football / Calcium.- (Chronicle) Inter won the derby against AC Milan on Saturday 0-2, continuing as a Serie A leader during a fourth day where the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo scored for the triumph of his team, Juventus, 2-1 and with a comeback on Hellas Verona.

Marcelo Brozovic, just beginning the second half, opened the scoring with a low and powerful shot from the front of the area; Slightly slashed to the left during a stationary ball play, his shot bounced off the leg of an opponent and that change of trajectory beat Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The VAR corroborated that goal and the control of the match was from there for the ‘nerazzurri’, who sentenced with the 0-2 scored by the Belgian Romelu Lukaku. It was through a stubborn, portentous before the centrals and taking advantage of a measured center of his partner Nicolo Barella from the left-handed band.

Thanks to this good harvest, Inter recovered a first place that for some hours had been held by Juventus. Thus, Cristiano Ronaldo completed the comeback that had signed at home the ‘Vecchia Signora’. The Welshman Aaron Ramsey, with a distant right, equalized half an hour the opening goal of Miguel Veloso for the Veronese.

And just after returning from the locker room, ‘CR7’ transformed a maximum penalty and consumed the turn of the scoreboard, which allowed his team to get 10 points and continue to rebuild the lead. Meanwhile, Hellas Verona placed provisionally in twelfth place with 4 points.

In the other game on Saturday in the Italian league, Udinese fell in front of their audience 0-1 against Brescia. Romulo was the author of the only target, when he ran the 57th minute, and left the Udine team still in the relegation places to Serie B.
