The Iranian government has sent an official note to the United States in which it warns that it will respond to any aggression against the country and insists that it had nothing to do with the attack on two facilities of the Saudi oil company Aramco last Saturday.
The note has been sent through the Swiss Embassy in Tehran, which represents the interests of Washington since the two countries do not maintain diplomatic relations, as reported by the Mehr news agency.
In the document, Tehran says it played no role in the attacks, which have been claimed by the Yemeni Huthi rebels, and has denied the accusation made against Iran by both the United States and the Saudi authorities.
He also warned that “Iran will respond immediately to any aggression against the country” and its response “will be quick and strong and could include areas wider than the source of the attacks.”
