The Internet company Yahoo has reported that it is suffering a fall in part of its services globally, among which is Yahoo Mail, its email service, as reported on Thursday.
“It may not be possible to access part of our services, including ’email’. Our top priority right now is to fix this. Thank you for your patience,” Yahoo said in its customer service account on Twitter.
The ‘Downdetector’ website, which monitors web and application service problems, indicates that more than 4,000 incidents have been registered with Yahoo Mail, most of them in Europe. Of that figure, 59% of the problems are due to the inability to access the account, while another 30% are experiencing problems with the Yahoo Mail website and 9% indicate that they cannot read emails.
