Vetusta Morla band announces North American tour for October 2019

Madrid, Spain.- The Spanish musical group Vetusta Morla will perform in ten cities in the United States and Canada during the month of October on their “Same Site, Different Place” tour, the Sony Music label announced on Tuesday.

The Madrid band, nominated for three Latin Grammy awards for their latest album, will be released in most of the cities that make up this tour, which will start on October 1 in Boston and continue in Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio, Tucson, San Diego and Los Angeles.

The first time they took their live show to the United States was in 2012, when they performed in New York, Chicago, Washington, Austin and Los Angeles.

With this new journey Vetusta Morla reinforce the traveler character of their album, “Same Site, Different Place”, which they launched in November of 2017.

The journey began at the rehearsal venue in Madrid and took them to the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin (Germany), where they recorded and produced together with Campi Campón the ten songs on the album.

From there, to the Tarbox Road Studios in Cassadaga, in the northern United States, where they mixed with Dave Fridmann, and finished the process at the Sterling Sound in New York with Greg Calby.

In this trip the six components of the band have already been presented to the public from 13 countries in Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Uruguay) and Europe (Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Austria and Switzerland). ). (EFE)
