Notice for visitors to Downtown Orlando this Sunday, January 27, 2019

Downtown Orlando continues to be the place of Central Florida to meet and enjoy fabulous experiences and the Municipality of Orlando is committed to helping visitors and residents easily transport themselves through the area, find parking, enjoy the event and have a safe trip back to home.

This Sunday, January 27, in addition to the regular downtown activities, several important large-scale events have been planned, and additional road closures will be implemented.

It is recommended that attendees plan in advance their access route and place to park; Get out early and give yourself enough time to get downtown anticipating unforeseen delays.

The Municipality of Orlando will work with Waze (a GPS program for smartphones and tablets that provides traffic updates in real time) to ensure that users have the latest information on weekend closures.

Visitors should keep in mind that road closures in the downtown area change according to the needs of the events, the construction of UltimateI-4 and 408, as well as other urban changes in the area.

Other forms of transportation, such as the LYMMO buses and bicycle sharing program, can help visitors get to their destinations.
