Luck puts the Colts in the final phase

Quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns and the Indianapolis Colts beat the Tennessee Titans 33-17 to get the final trip to the postseason.

The Colts (10-6) pass with the second wild card of the American Conference, planted number six.

With the Houston Texans who won the South Division title of the American Conference the previous Sunday with a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Colts and Titans played for the second wild card.

The Colts must make a trip to face the Texans next week in the first final round.

For the Colts (10-6), under first-year coach Frank Reich, it’s the franchise’s first post-season trip since the 2014 season.

Luck got his eleventh victory against the Titans and achieved the most triumphs of a quarterback since at least 1970 to win his first 11 starts against a franchise.

The quarterback completed 24 of 35 passes for 285 yards with three touchdown passes and one interception.

The Titans (9-7) saw a broken streak of four consecutive wins, after their starting quarterback Marcus Mariota did not play due to injuries to the neck and foot.

Reserve reserve quarterback Blaine Gabbert completed 18 of 29 passes for 165 yards with a touchdown pass and two interceptions.
