Trae Young had 21 points and nine assists for the Atlanta Hawks, which outscored the Cleveland Cavaliers 111-108, who added six straight losses.
In the bottom team match reserve Vince Carter also scored 21 points for the Hawks, who added their second consecutive win but remain last in the Southeast Division.
John Collins added double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Hawks.
The Cavaliers (8-29), last in the Central Division, were led by Cedi Osman, with 22 points.
Larry Nance managed double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds and Collin Sexton also scored 18 points.
