Tennessee Titans may not have Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jurrell Casey in their starting lineup when next Sunday they face the Indianapolis Colts in the final game of the regular season finale in the La Liga competition National Football (NFL).
The team plans to put Casey on injured reserve because he has problems with the collateral ligament in his left knee.
Mike Vrabel, head coach, said he does not anticipate that Casey will be available when the Titans host the Colts on Sunday and bid farewell to the regular season and competition, since they have not qualified for the playoffs.
The Titans’ top coach added that reserve Bennie Logan will replace Casey, who was injured during Saturday’s game against the Washington Redskins at the end of the fourth quarter.
The line received help to leave the field of play and was transferred to the infirmary of the stadium to perform exams.
Casey, who was named for his fourth Pro Bowl appearance last week, finished his season with seven sacks.
