Thunder, six consecutive wins; Raptors, five, and best NBA record

The winning march of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Toronto Raptors stayed one more day in the NBA by getting six and five consecutive wins, respectively, both achieved as visiting teams.

German baseman Dennis Schroder scored 28 points for the Thunder, who added their sixth straight victory by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 86-95.

Schroder emerged as the great figure to occupy the position of owner of the star of the Thunder, Russell Westbrook, who was low to not have recovered from a sprained left ankle suffered in the previous game they played against the New Orleans Pelicans .

The German base led a list of only three players who finished the game with double-digit numbers, including forward Paul George, who reached 18 points, and forward Jerami Grant, who contributed 12 points.

Forward Kawhi Leonard scored a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds for the Toronto Raptors, who beat the Sacramento Kings 105-114 and got the fifth straight win.

Along with Leonard, Cameroonian power forward Pascal Siakam scored 21 points as the second highest scorer of the Raptors.

While the base Kyle Lowry contributed 16 points for the Raptors, who with their fifth consecutive victory put their mark at 11-1 and remain the team with the best in the league.

The nationalized Congolese Spanish Serge Ibaka got double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds – 11 defensive – in 28 minutes of play, which made him the best of the team in the paint.

The Spanish power forward Marc Gasol got double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds – nine defensive – as leader of the Memphis Grizzlies attack, which won 89-87 to the Denver Nuggets, who saw broken streak of five consecutive wins .

With their victory, the Grizzlies (6-4) tied the San Antonio Spurs (6-4) in first place in the Southwest Division. Earlier in the day the Spurs lost visitors by 95-88 against the Miami Heat.

Despite the defeat, the Nuggets (9-2) remain leaders in the Northwest Division.
Forward Gary Harris got 20 points, Canadian reserve power forward Trey Lyles contributed double-double of 16 points and nine rebounds.

Power forward Hassan Whiteside had a double-double of 29 points and 20 rebounds as the Heat’s leader against the Spurs, which was a real duel of defenses.

Whiteside dominated in the inside game and there was the difference to stay at the doors of the triple-double, put 9 blocks, and the Heat with a mark of (5-5), seconds in the Southeast Division.

Latvian forward Davis Bertans, also in reserve, scored 19 points and guard DeMar DeRozan finished with a double-double of 18 points, 14 rebounds – 11 defensive – and distributed eight assists.

Cameroonian center Joel Embiid collaborated with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Philadelphia Sixers, who won at home 94-100 to the Indiana Pacers and achieved their first win out of their field since the season began.

The win allowed the Sixers to get a 6-5 mark so far in the championship, with third-place marchers in the Atlantic Division.

The Pacers (7-5), despite adding their second consecutive defeat in their field, remain in the sub-leader of the Central Division.

Stellar center Anthony Davis regained his inspirational bowl and physical power that allowed him to once again be the leader in the inner game of the New Orleans Pelicans who beat the Chicago Bulls 107-98 and broke a six-game losing streak.

Davis contributed a double-double of 32 points and 15 rebounds, which left him in charge of the attack of the New Orleans team (5-6), which after having started the regular season with a 4-0 streak fell in a crisis of game.

The Donovan Mitchell escort returned to the team after overcoming an ankle injury that cost him to miss the previous games and got 23 points and seven assists that helped the Utah Jazz beat easily by 117-102 to the devalued Dallas Mavericks.

The victory allowed the Jazz (5-6) to break streak of four consecutive defeats.
The great individual figure of the Mavericks was again the Slovenian forward, the rookie Luka Doncic, but once again his work did not bring anything new in the team game of Dallas, which was always lower than Utah.

Star forward LeBron James came close to the triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for the Los Angeles Lakers, who defeated the Timberwolves of Minnesota 114-110 and won the third game in the last four.
